Cameras work ok with app, but do not detect movement or anything else to recored with out u pressing the record button , these cameras r good for baby monitor thats about it ,

Recent update has at least made the app work about half the time. I am sorry but for an IP camera app, where the products entire purpose is to be viewed remotely, this is unacceptable. Horrible app.

The app was working fine to show camera over network. But then there was an update that caused to app to no longer work and it has yet to be resolved. The online web version works such that I can see the camera view but the whole point of getting this was to be able to access camera view from mobile app on phone.

This was one of the worst products Ive ever owned. Its all about you buying a subscription plus the product does not work very well. The set up manual is 180+ pages of very technical Internet network and protocol settings that you must configure. I contacted the technical support and the first thing and very strangely he wanted to remote control into my computers at home which I became very suspicious. This product does not need the use of a personal computer so my suspicions led me to believe that they also wanted to possibly hack into my computers and possibly to steal information. I wondered, is there more here than meets the eye! Could it be a new form of infiltration and hacking of personal information under the guise of a security company?

The Amcrest View cameras are decent quality, but their software to operate them is the worst Ive ever used. Its unreliable, unresponsive and occasionally fails to connect or even sense any motion.

The schedule of the motion detection is always cleared by some reasons after disable the motion detect function. Please Fix it

Since I updated the app July 13, playback tells me no recording. Please fix. It worked perfect before.

Im definitely returning this product to Amazon. Dont buy!! Its hard to set up, Im tech savvy but I still had a hard time. I almost threw it across the hall out of frustration. The app is useless and definitely needs an overhaul.

This app is pathetic. Cannot even login to the camera. It is not working at all. I am returning my camera.

The app is terrible - whoever is developing this "app" needs to go back to programming 101. The camera is nice and works. The computer desktop view and program works to setup and record. However - without the app working - this whole setup is useless for what I need. Which is remote mobile viewing as advertised! Just so upset at this point that I want to throw it into a fire. I wish I had bought the competitors more reliable mobile viewing security camera - even for another $50 bucks more. What a headache. BUYER BEWARE!

Like the camera but notification does not work. It worked before, but after a few days it stopped working. Please fix.

Having issues with scheduling the recording time. It will only let me set the recording to 12:00 noon. Once this is done, I save it and when I go back in the schedule was not saved. So far, that is my main issue, which is a big one since it prevents me from recording.

Takes a lot of time to start the view if you are in cell ohine . Even when you view it is buffering a lit

I installed this app a few days ago and it worked fine for a day and then just quit. The PC apps are fine and the iPad version is working but the iPhone version is worthless. I even tried reinstalling it but that didnt help. They also need a web interface that doesnt require a plugin so that it can be used on an iPad or iPhone. Also needed is a secured way to send email alerts so you dont have to compromise the security of you email server. Lots of work needed here.

Not sure why this app is rated so low. Worked flawlessly from the moment I installed it.

Very easy to set-up, great features, I have a competitors brand (Mole) if I would of known how easy this was I would not if wasted my time with the other brand, will order at least 2 more, hope they continue with the excellent service, definitely recommend it.

I just purchased today and downloaded the app that says "updated July 9 2016". Well this obviously did nothing. I cant set up the phone app at all. Wifi doesnt connect! Ethernet either! This is definitely being returned immediately. Horrible.

The camera works fine but the App fails too much. First they did an update that caused the fail. Then fixed that after everybody kept complaining. Have had to call tech support and they have done a remote change to my system two times already. The third time this happened within a month I gave up and returned the camera. There are too many other options out there to have to put up with technology that only works a day or two and then fails again. Look elsewhere.
