The app works fine for me, I dont know what other peoples issues were. They probably need to upgrade their network, mainly their router. We were having connectivity issues in our house and called the internet company out to take a look and they said it was our router. Bought a new top-tier router and no issues since. Also if you do you have a newer dual band router this camera only works on the 2.4 GHz not the 5G. So make sure youre trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz band. I purchased this camera to install in my childrens room. My wife wanted a baby gate so the one and a half year-old could safely go upstairs and play with his 4 1/2-year-old brother while she remained downstairs and did what she needed to do. I knew that even if the gate was there she would feel the compulsion to check on them incessantly. This $100 camera was the perfect solution. Not only can she keep an eye on them while she is downstairs she can also hear them and talk to them if necessary. Professionally packaged, sleek design, and works great. Great value for $100.
